The VMLS is located at 215 College Street, on the third floor of the building on the corner of College Street and South Winooski Avenue in downtown Burlington, Vermont - "America's Best Small City for the Arts" as voted by the U.S. Conference of Mayors [ MAP ]

Directions: From Interstate 89: Exit 14W (ramp exits in one direction only onto Main Street). Continue on Main Street down the hill toward Lake Champlain. Turn right onto South Winooski Avenue. For parking, turn right at College and take the first right into the Fletcher Free Library parking area, a city parking lot. (We're across So. Winooski Ave. from the Fletcher Free Library lawn). Other city parking areas can be located at this site.

Library Hours: September through May, 11AM-7PM; Summer 11AM-3:00PM. The Vermont Music Shop is open 24-hours online at http://www.vmls.org or vermontmusicshop.com. Closed major holidays.

Admission is free. Local lodging, restaurants and information can be found at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Touring musicians are welcome to our wireless internet access and amenities.

WiFi Zone

We're adjacent to the Church Street Marketplace, Burlington's historic pedestrian mall featuring restaurants, street vendors, and more than 100 retail shops. The Marketplace has received the Great American Main Street Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Burlington is full of award winning restaurants.
