Tim Brick, 'Borderline'
Tim Brick's 'Borderline' is a blend of classic southern rock and country. The content of Brick's songs does not stray far from the roots of these genres, grounding the fact that 'Borderline' is an album for listeners who like the good ol' stuff. In the fast paced, guitar soloed "New York Woman" Brick sings "She was playin' dirty pool in her high heel boots/ She knew all along how it turned me on." Although many of his songs may not be as promiscuous, it is undeniable that Tim Brick's album represents actual borderlines in which the edge between right and wrong is uncertain. And sometimes that is not a bad thing. -Michael Fecher
